This series includes ceramic masks made from direct molds of my face and fiber woven, draped, and braided. The piece's construction and form mirror my process of deconstructing and reconstructing my relationship to spirit, as I unravel inherited narratives and rebuild a sense of self in dialogue with my ancestors.
